Can't believe I made this Pottery Barn knock off Hyde table all by myself! Such a great DIY furniture project!

I used Ana’s plans for the Knock Off Pottery Barn Hyde side table.  I’m very pleased with how it turned out and happy to report that I made it ALL by myself!  The wood for this project cost less than $20.

I modified the size of the table in Ana’s plans and made mine 28 inches by 35 inches so it would fit perfectly between my couch and loveseat.  I followed Ana’s instructions with the exception that I used a pneumatic nailer for most the construction, using wood screws at a couple of key places.

Because I made it from pine, I used Minwax Wood Conditioner before staining it with Minwax Dark Walnut Stain.

Then I finished it off with two coats of Minwax Wipe-On Poly.  (I love this stuff – so easy to apply.)

It’s really a nice addition to my family room.  Thanks Ana!
